Kevin Freije Motley

Kevin Freije Motley, 52, passed away on May 10, 2026. Born on July 1, 1973, to James B. Motley and Judith Freije, in San Antonio, Texas, Kevin recently moved his family to Bastrop, Texas for new beginnings.

Kevin will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him. In the ways that mattered most—through steady devotion, a compassionate heart, and a tireless work ethic—he gave of himself generously. He met life with a spirit of adventure and purpose, and his presence brought comfort and strength to those around him.

Kevin was married to Anne, and together they built a family that remained at the center of his life. He was a devoted father to their four sons, and his love for them was evident in the care, commitment, and constancy he brought to each day.

Away from daily responsibilities, Kevin found quiet satisfaction in woodworking, where patience and skill came together in the work of his hands. He also enjoyed cats, and in that simple companionship there was a warmth that reflected his gentle nature.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, TX 78602, on June 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
