

Alejo Fontillas Quijencio joined our Creator on March 22, 2024, at age 76, in Beaumont, California. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. To his friends and family, he was known as "Aling", "Alex", "Manong", or "Papa".
Alejo was born in San Narciso, Zambales in the Philippines on February 15, 1948 and was the fifth of ten siblings. He was a devout Catholic and lived as one until his last day. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 2000.
Alejo was a great family man and friend. He enjoyed being a grandfather to his wonderful grandchildren. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. His down-to-earth nature made him liked by all. He loved gardening and was known as a great cook.
Alejo is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nenita, their children, Arlene (Tristan), Maria Alicia (Rydell), Anna Patricia, and Adrian Noel (Desirae), grandchildren, JC (Delaney), Katherine Jasmine, Alexander and Mackenzie, and his siblings Rudy, Edna, Helen, Romeo and Arthur.
A Funeral Mass for Alejo will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church located at 1234 Palm Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223.
Viewing/Visitation will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weaver Mortuary located at 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223.
