Bass "Don" Lavon Crow passed away quietly in his sleep on March 12, 2012, in Redlands, California at the age of 83. He was born July 29, 1928, in Hillsboro, Arkansas, to Bass Bemis and Vena Crow. He was the father of 3 sons, Donnie, Greg and Jerry. Don graduated from USC with a Masters Degree in Economics. He served in the U.S.Army and was selected as a member of General Douglas MacArthur's Honor Guard. He was stationed with the General in Japan and Korea. After working in the grocery industry, he retired to Louisiana and then moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning, California.Don is survived by his wife, Jeanne; his two sons, Greg and Jerry; grandson, Jeremy and granddaughters, Kelley and Riley.
