Bernie Flores, born June 11, 1934 in Beaumont, California passed away on April 24, 2019 in Redlands, California. Bernie resided in Beaumont, California his entire life. He was a cement mason for over 50 years along with a counselor at Twin Pines, a member at the Knights of Columbus and a board member at the Beaumont Parks and Recreation.
Bernie was Counselor of The Year 2 years in a row from 1974-1975 as well as the Founding Director of Beaumont Parks and Recreation with 20 years of service from 1972-1992.
Bernie is survived by his wife Juanita Flores, son, Frank Flores of Beaumont, CA., son, John V. Flores of Cherry Valley, CA., son, Damian T. Flores of Beaumont, CA., daughter, Martha A. Flores of Elk Grove, CA., daughter, Anastasia B. Flores of Beaumont, CA., daughter, Yvonne Flores of Banning, CA., son, Bernie Flores Jr. of Desert Hot Springs, CA., brother, John Flores of Beaumont, CA., sister, Rita Collins of Beaumont, CA., sister, Francis F. Terry of Beaumont, CA. as well as 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Bernie is preceded in death by his son, Ernie Flores of Las Vegas, NV., mother, Dorothy Y. Flores of Beaumont, CA., father, Antonio Flores Sr. of Beaumont, CA., brother, Paul Flores of Beaumont, CA., brother, Joe Flores of Las Vegas, NV., brother, Florencio Flores of Tijuana, MX., sister, Josephine Flores of Beaumont, CA., brother, Antonio Flores of Las Vegas, NV.
