Debra Kay Adkins

Debra Kay Francis-Adkins came to the sunlight on May 28th, 1960. She was born in Harlingen Texas. She came to live in California in her teenage years and remained there through her adult life. Debbie loves her animals. She worked as a vets assistant, Walmart, and was a homemaker. Her children were the light of her life and would give the shirt off of her back to help anyone in need. She was a loving mother and friend. Debbie had been fighting cancer and on June 25th, 2015 as the sunset Jesus came to take her by the hand and lead her home on a new journey free of pain.

Debbie is preceded in death by her husband Michael Adkins and her mother Betty J Fondren. She is survived by her children, Steven and Christine Adkins, sister in law Lori McCarver , sister and brother-in-law Sherry and Ron Parris brother and sister-in-law Stan and Jeanette Francis residing in Texas, father and step mother Wayne and Cheryl Francis of Michigan and many loving friends, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Colton Christian Church on July 11th, 2015 at 1:00 pm in Colton, California.
