

Denise Borruel, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and compassionate friend, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, at the age of 61. A resident of Beaumont, California, Denise was born June 4, 1963, in Barstow, California.
For 33 years, Denise proudly owned and operated a Del Taco franchise, serving her community with dedication and a warm smile that lit up every room she entered. Her work was more than a career-it was an extension of her care for others and reflection of commitment to excellence and kindness.
Denise is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Robert Borruel, and their three sons: Antonio Borruel , Rob Borruel, Aaron Borruel and fiancee Jessica Ries. Daughter's in law Nicole Borruel and Tiffany Borruel. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings- Gilbert Duarte, Jim Duarte, Linda Perea- and her treasured grandchildren: Autumn Borruel, Deegan Borruel, Finn Borruel, Dakoda Borruel, Basil Borruel. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Antonio and Aurora Duarte.
A faithful member of St Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Denise lived her life as a true servant of God. She was deeply involved in ministries including
Worldwide Marriage Encounter, Catholic Daughters of America, FCCW St Catherines Catholic Church in Riverside. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she expressed God’s love through her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and steadfast selflessness.
Denise had a deep love for the outdoors- she enjoyed hiking in nature and traveling the country in her motorhome with her family. She was also a devoted Dodgers fan, proudly cheering for her team and never missing a chance to watch a game. Her family was her greatest joy, and she spent every moment she could creating lasting memories with them.
Despite a courageous effort in dealing with cancer, Denise remained a beacon of strength and grace. She never complained, never asked for sympathy, and continued to smile through even the hardest days. She faced her trials with quiet bravery, choosing instead to care for others and share God’s love in every word and action.
Denise Borruel will be remembered as a woman of faith, strength, warmth, and boundless compassion. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Divine Mercy Chaplet & Rosary for Denise will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Beaumont, 1234 Palm Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223. A catholic funeral mass will occur Friday, May 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1234 Palm Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223. A graveside service will occur Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery Loving Memory of Denise Borruel
