Dear Luba ! We never met unfortunately .. Drew and I played in the Munich Symphony Orchestra way back in 1979 when I moved into Munich ! I have many fond memories of him sitting at the back of our tour bus .. always smiling, laughing and making other laugh too !

I'm very sad to learn of Drew's passing. I knew Drew when he lived in Munich, Germany and for a short time when he lived in New York City before he moved back to California many years ago. I was very fond of Drew. He was a kind, warm, cheerful person. I enjoyed  poker games with him and his musician friends. I inherited his cat when he moved west. He was a loyal friend. I'm sorry to have lost touch over the years. My condolences to his wife.

My prayers and thoughts are with Drew's family.  I thought I would share a memory of Drew while I was in high school. I graduated in 1972 but remember Drew very well.  I was very impressed with his musical abilities.  He developed my love of the french horn.  I loved his face book posts and honestly this caught me by surprise.   I hope the family finds comfort in these memories during these difficult times.
