

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 19, 1931 to George Anthony and Mary Agnes (Hughes) Campbell, she was predeceased by sisters Mary Bergin, Margaret Fitzgerald, Dorothy Kenney, and brothers Leo Campbell and George Campbell, all of New York.
Ellen spent her professional life in higher education administration and teaching. Her education included a BA, English, Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, MA University of London and PhD Syracuse University. She left her imprint on many institutions, including Marymount Colleges around the world, as well as Woodbury University, Burbank and Mt. Saint Mary’s, Los Angeles. While always lured into administration because of her skills, teaching was her passion. She was a proud Professor Emerita at Woodbury University, Burbank.
A devoted member of St Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church for over 20 years, Ellen spent many years supporting the RCIA program. Her family, friends and faith were everything to her. She leaves behind countless friends all over the world, as well as 17 nieces and nephews, and many great and great great nieces and nephews.
Mass will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 10:00 am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Beaumont followed by a gravesite service. Immediately following will be a celebration at Noble Creek Community Center in Beaumont. All are welcome.
