

Frank Atencio, age 86, of Cherry Valley, Ca, received his angel’s wings on March 11, 2025. Frank was born on September 22, 1938 in Highgrove, Ca. He was delivered by the vet - Doc White. He was a former resident of San Bernardino, Ca. Frank was a skilled mason for over 30 years and built many commercial buildings in the local area as well as beautiful fireplaces and brickwork all over the southland. Frank loved his roosters, was an excellent hunter who provided well for his family, he enjoyed roping and working horses in the arena, and was a damn good horse trainer. Frank loved traveling to Baja with his wife. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Atencio and Vivian Trujillo, his brothers Thomas and Michael Atencio, and his grandson Brandon Perez. Frank is survived by his wife - Callie Atencio and by his children, Lizabeth King, Barbara Jackson, Amanda Wheeler, and Bronc Atencio. Additionally by his in-laws, Terry Atencio, Marc and Emily, Nolan King, Chris Wheeler, and Jillian Scoubart, as well as his grandchildren, Fawnie, Sarah, Rosie, Kiko, Lakota, and Baby A (on the way). Frank also has 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Frank was a good man and a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His time here was a memorable adventure and he will be greatly missed.
