

He wasn't a man of many words, but if you needed him he would be right there to help his friends and family. He was a kind hearted, strong, loving man who loved to be outside working with his hands. He could fix anything that was broken, lift anything that was too heavy and could make you laugh with all his silly jokes and sayings.
Frank Lee Murrill was born December 5, 1947, in Glendale, California. His parents were John and Rosemary Murrill. He was raised in La Puenta and later in Mira Loma. He was the oldest of six children. He had three brothers and two sisters.
Friends and aquintances found Frank an easy man to get to know. As a teenager, he enjoyed working on cars with his dad, brothers and cousins. He also worked alongside his dad and brothers in their masonary business.
Frank was married in Glen Avon, California on november 21, 1970, in a double wedding with his brother Bruce, they married sisters.
Very much like a kid himself, Frank seemed happiest when children were around. He was blessed with two children, Erin and Christopher. They were also blessed with five grandchildren, Zachary, Brooklyn, Camdon, Madelyn and Cade. He raised his children in Corona, California, where he was the funnest dad on the block. He enjoyed going camping and fishing with his family.
Frank worked for the State of California. He was a Correctional Officer at the Youth Training Authority in Chino for 24 years. He retired in 1993 due to a knee injury that occurred at the prison. Frank was an Army veteran. He served from 1968 to 1970 and spent some of his time in Germany. He was a member of the Republican party and was very patriotic. After retiring from the prison, Frank never stopped working. He enjoyed being outdoors and found work in Hemet at a few different ranches. He built many things while working, along with making many lasting relationships.
Frank loved to be outdoors, just goofing off driving around in his John Deere Gator. He loved to go shooting with his son and even taught his daughter to shoot too. Frank loved animals and had many pot bellied pigs, donkeys, llama and a horse, to name a few. He enjoyed watching bullriding and going to rodeos. He also loved to watch boxing and Nascar. He could build you anything you wanted him to. He was a prankster and loved to play practical jokes. He was a beloved dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
Frank passed away on December 15, 2010, at his home in Perris, California. He fought a short, but brave battle against cancer. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Murrill; his longtime companion, Nell Stevens; his children, Erin Munoz and Christopher Murrill; his grandchildren, Zach Munoz, Brooklyn Munoz, Camdon Murrill, Madelyn Munoz and Cade Murrill and his siblings, Bruce Murrill, Roland Murrill, Pam Gromus and Roberta McLaughlin. Services were held at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California on December 23, 2010, at 11:00 AM.
