George Dominguez Avila

He is survived by his children Anthony (Julie) Roth, Alea Avila, George Jr. (Charleen) Avila Michelle (Brian) Faulkner, Melissa (Raymond) Marcus, Jessica (Robert) Waters, Sean (Lauryn) Casey Avila. He is also survived by his siblings Jessie Heredia, Paul Avila, Cecelia Avila, Susie Cannady.

He is preceded in death by Raul & Trinidad Avila (Parents) Bea Martinez (Sister), Juanita Flores (Sister) Frank Valdivia (Brother) George Avila III (Grandson)

He was apart of the Cement Masons for 30 years. He enjoyed watching Nascar, watchingWesters, and watching the Dodgers play, and spending time with his family.

He lived in Beaumont for the first 60 years of his life, then moved to Oklahoma with his son Anthony and family, where he lived for the next 10 years. He moved back to Beaumont in 2021, where he lived for the remainder of his life. He was a true fighter, who survived 3 bouts of cancer, and was ready to battle a fourth time before he was called home. He was an amazing grandfather, and great-grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with all the kids, and they loved him so much! He enjoyed going to watch his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren’s ball games. He was always talking about his life experiences, and with every story he told, he shared a piece of his heart, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever. He was one of a kind, and will be missed immensely.
