Gerri Lefevre

Gerri Lefevre, 78 of Cherry Valley passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born on October 27th, 1934 In LaGrande Oregon, where she attended high school and married her husband of 47 years, Charles Lewis. She moved to southern California in 1955 to be in a warmer climate after her husband had fulfilled his obligation to the United States Navy and raised three daughters. By 1976 Gerri called Beaumont home. She was an active member of many organizations including Highland Springs Lady’s Golf Club, Elks, Eagles, VFW, American Legion, as well as being president of the Hillside Elementary PTA, and a Girl scout troop Leader. In 1997 Charles passed away. After several years, in 2004 Gerri married the love of her life, Larry Lefevre. Together they had a happy marriage and enjoyed travelling, Bingo,Fishing, golf and spending there summers at Blue River Oregon along the McKenzie River with friends and family until Larry passed away March 21st, 2013. She thought she was part gypsy because she loved being on the road. She introduced herself to every stranger in the room and was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her three daughters ; Chyrel Young, Christy Medrano and her husband Carlos Medrano, and Cheri Garewal and her husband Robert Garewal. Three grandsons; Anthony Tacchia, Aaron Tacchia and his wife Alyssa Tacchia, and Phillip Guzman. Three Grandaughters; Amber Evans and her husband Keyon Evans, Seanna Garewal, and Lauryn Garewal. Four Great Grandsons Keyon Evans Jr., Anthony Tacchia, Kobe Evans, Julian Guzman. Four Great Grand Daughters; Jilleacia Evans, Angelina Tacchia, Aryana Tacchia, Juliana Evans. Three step daughters; Susan Lefevre, Julie Todi, Lorrie Dover. Five Step Grand Children; Larry Johnson, Brent Johnson and his wife Madelyn, Marisa Todi, Whitney Shaw and her husband David, and Jessica Dunham.
