

Holly Elizabeth Chapin, 50, of Lakewood, California, passed away January 22, 2015 at Gardens Regional Hospital in Hawaiian Gardens, California. She was born December 9, 1964 at San Gorgonio Pass Hospital, Banning, California. Holly was raised in Beaumont, California with her three older siblings. The Chapin family were long time Beaumont residents.
Holly is survived by two older sisters Patricia Ann Rutherford of Beaumont, California and Frances C. Amati of Huntington Beach,California, five nieces and nephews, Ernest Moran III, Heather Montrone, Patrick Moran, Brenna McAdams and Evan McAdams and four great nephews and nieces Dustin Montrone, Gaven Olden, Ethan Montrone and Evelyn Peters.
In a time and place when special needs family members were seldom front and center in family life, Holly maintained an active and productive life as a founding participant in the Pass Resource Center, attending school in both Beaumont and Banning. Holly led an active lifestyle enjoying aerobics, dancing, music and family activities. Upon leaving Beaumont, she lived in Camarillo and Costa Mesa for a number of years before settling in Lakewood, California as a member of Sky Homes. The staff and owners of Sky Homes provided not only a safe and happy home for Holly, but were additional family to her during her years of residency.
Friends and family gathered for a viewing and visitation January 30, 2015 at 12:30pm, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. Graveside service followed at 2:00pm at Mt. View Cemetery, 1315 Edgar Avenue, Beaumont, California where Holly was laid to rest beside her parents Harley and Ann Chapin.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
