Joseph "SHARK" Waters

Joseph Hahwenno Dahjeh "SHARK" Waters passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at his home in Banning, California. Joseph "SHARK" was born August 4, 1979 in Syracuse, New York to Janice Waters. He grew up on the Morongo Reservation in Banning, California. SHARK enjoyed hunting, playing pool, darts, video games and collecting megalodon artifacts. He was a very talented man with an amazing personality.

SHARK was the type of man who was concerned more with the needs and wishes of others than with his own. His unconditional love for his family and friends was inspirational to all of us. SHARK was witty, funny and laughable. Even though his life was short, it was filled with passion, courage, empathy and love.

SHARK is survived by his wife Angela Waters; children Joseph Waters, Sophia Waters and Robert (Googles) Waters; mother Janice Waters; siblings Terri Potak, Jess Potak, Leila Waters, Leah Waters, Robert Waters and Rebecca Waters; uncle Bill Johnson and aunts Roberta Johnson, Leila Chubb and Cindy Hill. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will be Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at 1:00pm, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. Interment will follow at Morongo Tribal Cemetery, 48280 Chino road, Banning, California.
