Three years later and I’m still missing my favorite English teacher.  Thank you for blessing me and so many students with your gift of teaching and mentoring.  From my classmates and I of  MVHS 1988.

Still remember you after 2 years Ms. Muldoon. You were a wonderful teacher and a guiding light. RIP my friend❤️

After a year, I still think of you and the positive impact you left on my life and so many others. Thank you for your guidance and motivation to be a better person. 

I was a student in one of Ms. Muldoon's English classes at MVHS in the 80's. I can't say I did very well in her class but that is my fault, not hers. I could tell she was passionate about what she did and she was one of the teachers I continued to remember as time went on. Thank you, Ms. Muldoon. 

I was in Ms. Muldoon’s creative writing class at MVHS in the 80’s. She taught us about analyzing lyrics of songs in that class, which fascinated me. I wrote a poem that I was proud of — and it irks me to this day that I lost it.

It was through RCCD email that I learned of Marcia's passing. I did not realize she was an adjunct professor at Norco. I’m adjunct at Riverside (completely different subject though).

Ah, I remember those high school days!

Marcia will be so missed at Norco College! She has been teaching and joining professional development meetings for the past several years. It was an absolute joy to see her and to chat about teaching.

She inspired me to be a teacher and a writer. She had such a tremendous impact on me and my fellow classmates. She will be missed!

Miss. Muldoon was my Creative Writing teacher at MVHS back in the late 80's. I had her a couple of semesters and she was not only one of my favorites but she was truly an amazing and inspirational person in my life.  She knew I could things that I didn't and I was going through some horrific abuse at home and was able to relay alot of my pain out in my Writing helping me to cope day to day and get through life! I honestly can never thank her enough and she will always be in my heart! Rest in Paradise Miss Muldoon 🙏 and Fly high with the Angels 😇!

Marcia was my English teacher in the 80’s. She was an amazing teacher. She had a kindness and loving heart for her students. She will forever be missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

Ms. Muldoon was my former high school teacher for a creative writing class in the 80’s. She was more than just a teacher. I struggled with suicidal thoughts which she interpreted from my writings. She was one of the only people who reached out with compassion and a kind word. I will remember you forever. 

I met Marci several years ago at some mutual friends' home. We hit it off right away because of the things we had in common, the fact we were both English professors and we both loved Dickens, and had both rescued animals. As we talked, we discovered we had yet another commonality, a love for Hallmark movies. We jokingly  planned to write a Hallmark screenplay together, but around Christmas time last year  we actually got a little more serious about it and started putting down a potential plot line. I was glad that Marci went to stay in a Hallmark-like hotel for her Christmas break, something she was excited about. 

I enjoyed Marci's spirited liveliness and her kind-heartedness.  I know that her students adored her as she put so much into her teaching. I look forward to seeing Marci again in Heaven where there will be no more pain. In that place there will be better things even than Hallmark movies, but I think maybe Marci and I will find a way to write a predictable script, enjoy our animals again, and enjoy the peace, joy, and love of the Father  forever.  Until then, Marci shall  be greatly missed. 

Marcia and I had a very big thing in common we were single for many years!  We didn't talk often but when we did we would laugh about, we didn't have this or that because our husbands were no longer around. But you know?  We did just fine!  Marcia did just fine.
A free spirited lady she did life on her terms.
We spoke most often by text messaging last couple of months.  I learned so much of her struggles and her desire to live on.  We got closer as her journey had its up and downs and she so eloquently wrote of her battles.  I will not forget what she wrote and how well she could express herself.
I am still stunned at her abrupt departure but then I believe she was spared further trauma.  I'll bet now she is flying high and care free.

Having a sister is a special bond unlike any other. We grew up in the same house, but followed different paths in life. We laughed, cried and fought as siblings do, but we always found our way back to each other. I’ll cherish the memories we shared and keep you in my heart forever.
