Mary married Douglas Raymond Olson on April 1, 1945, one week after meeting on a blind date. Douglas preceded Mary in death December of 1996. Mary's oldest daughter Mary Lynn also preceded her in death June of 1995. Mary is survived by her youngest daughter Christine Marie of Big River, California; her sister-in-law Colleen and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was an avid golfer, having taken up the game in the late 1950's. She held positions in the Women's Golf Association at Candlewood Country Club in Whittier, California and Sun Lakes Country Club Women's Golf Association in Banning, California, winning many club championships. Mary also enjoyed reading, oil painting, crosswords and needlepoint.
Services for Mary will be private and she will be interred at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, California.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
