My husband Bernie and I just read that Nancy Streeter passed away in June of this year.

We met Nancy and her husband Ray through church and school activities.  Her daughter and my daughter were classmates and friends at Precious Blood School in Banning.

Nancy was an industrious woman who opened her own Salon and added other businesses through the years.

God rest her dear soul and grant her peace in her heavenly reward.

I am so sad to hear that Nancy passed away. I just met her for the first time about two months ago when we were talking about a “grand “ idea I had for her shop. When I met with her, she told me to get a pencil and piece of paper, then proceeded to give me the names of people and businesses that she thought would be helpful to me. Remember, I had just met her for the very first time!

She shared with me how much she missed her husband, and that he had only written two checks in their entire marriage! How handy he was, and how much she counted on him.

She talked about each of her children and grandchildren… Where they lived, and what they were doing, and how very proud she was of each of you. You’re very, very proud!

She also told me about how she got the beauty salon started, and how that the owner of the building at the time was very generous, and had that salon built  for her and included it in her rent at the time. She said that his kindness and willingness to help her get started as what has prompted her to pay  that forward. She was thrilled and impressed with the young man who rented the bicycle space and shared with me how long he’s been there, and how she believed in him all along! She also felt very positive about who was renting out the salon.

We talked about longtime Beaumont families. Mine being one of them (Bynum). She knew so many and cared so deeply. 

I will always be grateful for the time she spent with me, and although our timelines did not align, my dream remains the same. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you.

My deepest sympathy to the Streeter family.  I met Nancy in 2003.  Somehow, your mom convinced me to teach cardmaking at her shop--a craft I love and continue to do today.  I fondly remember numerous trips with her to LA/Vegas to attend craft shows, and was always amazed by her endless energy and enthusiasm.  She truly was a special woman with so many talents, and will be greatly missed.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  

Blessings to all of you!  Nancy was a very special lady who loved her family and worked very hard.  Don and I always enjoyed time with your folks and you kids.  Time just got away from all of us.  Will be thinking of you today.

Denise, Ray, Mark & Stephanie… your parents were so special!    Coming to CA was a treat and will never forget our trip in 98!  Uncle Raymond was so happy to ride the rollercoasters with me, aunt Nancy just rolled her eyes!  It was so much fun!  Also remember them saying to each other, “Sure hope we don’t have a SHAKER while  they are here”,  we kinda froze and asked, “by SHAKER, do you mean earthquake? “ and “YEP”, was their answer. To my Aunt Nancy whom I only met once upon my grampas passing. We never really got acquainted but I have lots of memories. Mom and dad spoke highly of you and uncle Ray. May you both rest in peace surrounding your family's and friends. I know mom was glad to see you. 
My condolences go out to all. May our lord rest his hands upon our family. Warm kind thoughts and love sent from Kentucky to California and across the states to all.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family!  Nancy was a very special friend to me, as well as to many, and will be sorely missed.  My regret is that we didn’t have more time together.  May she rest in peace with her recently departed husband.  God’s blessings to Nancy’s family.
