Norma Paraton Valdez

Norma Paraton Valdez, 87, went home peacefully to the Lord on January 14, 2025. She was born on July 17, 1937 in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to the late Nemecio and Juana Paraton also of Batac Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Norma was preceded in death by her late beloved husband, Gregorio Valdez. She is survived by her son, Michael Valdez, daughter Rebecca Heslop (Steve), son William Valdez (Melanie), and daughter Jo Ann Valdez. Also, survived by her grandsons, Nathaniel Valdez and Jacob Valdez, as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces. Her siblings are the late Felipe, the late Carolina, Thesalonica, and Victorio.

She came to the United States in 1961 and resided in Banning with her husband before her passing. Norma proudly worked at Deutsch Co. for over 30 years until retirement.

Norma, a good, holy, loving woman of God, lived a beautiful life filled with love, kindness, and joy. She touched many hearts and will be deeply missed.

The family thanks Westfield Villa Gardens, Banning, for their compassionate care of their mother.

Visitation will be held at Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA, February 3, 4pm-8pm. Funeral service at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Banning, CA, February 4, 11am. Graveside service and Celebration of Life reception following.
