Phillip Nelson, age 72, of Banning, California passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Phillip was born January 13, 1946 in Plymouth, Indiana to Treva Nelson and Wendell Nelson. He was a previous resident of Orange, CA for 31 years. He worked in sales for 44 years. Phillip was a member of Bethany Bible Fellowship and Fellowship in the Pass. He was a Marine for 4 years and he enjoyed golf and family time.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Tricia Nelson of Banning; daughter Jennifer (Matt) Abshire of Lake Forest, CA; and son Dru (Stacy) Nelson of Chino Hills, CA; brother Tim ( Susan) Nelson of Fort Collins, CO and 3 grandchildren.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father Wendell Nelson and mother Treva Nelson.
A graveside service and military honors for Phillip will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California 92518.
