Ray was a Senior Vice President for marketing of his own business for over 35 years, he got his Master's Degree from Fullerton College. Ray enjoyed Harley rides, playing and teaching music and he was a member at Freedom in Christ Beaumont Music Center.
Ray is survived by his spouse, Linda Matranga, his son Sean Paul Matranga, his son Michael Mathew Matranga, his step daughter Elizabeth Caroline Helmer, his brother's Johnny Del Pozo, Mark Matranga, and 5 Grandchildren Makayla, Kensington, Kaden, Judah, and Kamryn. Ray was preceded in death by his father George Matranga; his mother Patty Berry and his step-mother Pat Matranga; his brother Daniel Matranga and his brother Anthony Matranga.
A graveside service and military honors for Ray will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:15 AM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California 92518. Following the graveside service and military honors will be a celebration of life at 2:00 PM at Noble Creek Community Center/ Franco Garden, 390 Oak Valley Parkway, Beaumont, CA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ray's memory may be made to Heart Association .
