Rodney Walter Hodges, 75, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at his home in Beaumont, California. He was born March 21, 1940 in Redlands, California to Clifford & Nova Hodges. Rodney had enlisted into the United States Army from 1963 – 1965. After his military service he worked as a plasterer in the construction industry for 46 years and he had resided in Beaumont for the past 30 years.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Delores Hodges of Beaumont; daughter, Ann Hodges of Washington; stepdaughters, Samantha Mandelke of Florida, Patricia Broussard of Arkansas and Sandra Rivera of Beaumont; sons, Rodney Hodges of Washington and David Hodges of Oregon; stepson, Cleveland Broussard of Beaumont; sisters Violet Smith of Minefee and Louise Surace of Huntington Beach; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2015 from 8:00am – 9:00am at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, CA. A graveside service will follow on Friday at 9:45 am at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA, Staging Area #4
