
Reynolds, Sue Rachael, age 90 passed away December 3, 2021 in Hemet California. She was born July 30, 1931 in Joplin, Missouri, to Reverend Dan D. and Ouida Jones. Since her father was a minister, the family moved several times throughout Missouri, New Mexico and Texas, being in Hamlin, Texas when Sue graduated from High School. It was here in Hamlin that she met James William (Bill) Reynolds. They dated and later were married on April 18, 1948, in Hamlin.
Bill and Sue were very active in church work their entire lives. They raised four children in West Texas, New Mexico and arrived in Pasadena, California in 1967. In 1973, they relocated to Livermore, California, where Sue worked as a floral designer in a local flower shop. In 1990, Bill and Sue moved to a retirement community in Hemet, California.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 63years, Bill, in 2011. She is survived by her children; Son Joe and wife Jan of Jayton, TX, and their children JJ and husband David Carleno, of Apple Valley, MN, and Josh Reynolds of Houston, TX; Son Keith Reynolds of Tucson, AZ, and his daughter Lisa Reynolds of Doha, Qatar; Daughter Rita and husband Steve Conrad of Orange, CA and their children Corrina Conrad and her fiancé Kenny Steele of Martinez Lake, AZ, Matthew and his wife Heidi Conrad of Corona, CA; Son Jerrald Reynolds of Riverside, CA; four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Cameron Reynolds, Victoria and Danielle Carleno; her brother Dan and his wife Yvonne of Austin, TX, and brother-in-law Lawrence Oliver of Albuquerque, New Mexico; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:30 am, in Riverside National Cemetery, 22945 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518. A reception in Sue’s honor will follow from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, in the club house, at 24600 Mountain, Hemet, CA 92544.
