Susan Helen Lara

Susan Helen Lara, born February 27, 1949 in Winnemucca Nevada near Carson City. Susan passed away July 3rd at 10:38pm after a series of illnesses, she died from pancreatic cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Allen R Burke, Helen K Burke, her sister Sandy L Reeser, and son Thomas L Lara Jr. She leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Thomas L Lara Sr. and son Anthony Lara and his wife Lisa and grandson Anthony Lara Jr. and granddaughter Liliana Lara. She also leaves behind her daughter Amanda Escamilla and her husband Mark Escamilla and grandson Dominic Escamilla and granddaughter Isabella Escamilla, 6 other grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Randy Burke brother, Shelly Burke sister in law and nieces Briana and Brandy and her sister Cindy Burke. Susan enjoyed riding horses and taking care of her many animals. I, her husband will truly miss her smile - laughter - kindness - compassion and the many other qualities she possessed. I was truly blessed to have

spent 62 years with such a beautiful, loving woman.

A visitation for Susan will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Weaver Mortuary & Crematory, 1177 BEAUMONT AVE, BEAUMONT, CA 92223. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Beaumont, 1234 Palm Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223. A graveside service will occur Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Sunnyslope Cemetery, 40 Pennsylvania Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223.
