Thomas Tom F Gleason

Thomas F. Gleason, devoted and adoring husband of Alma for 59 years, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2011. Tom was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 24, 1928. tom was proud to be a U.S. Marine from 1945 until 1949, serving in Guam and China. On a blind date Tom met the love of his life, Alma Russo and they were married April 19, 1952 in Boston. On a fun road trip across country, they made southern California their new home, where they raised their four sons, Joe, Fred, Jimi and Tim. Tom worked in law enforcement and retired from the Orange County Deputy Marshals Department after 30 years of dedicated service that he loved. Tom and Alma moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning, California where they enjoyed many friends and Tom's passion for golf and dancing. With his bright smile and warm personality, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Tom touched each and everyone of our lives. He will be forever missed, but not forgotten. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Tom's memory. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 1:00 PM,at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California.
