Victor Gordon Shuey

Victor Gordon Shuey, age 90, passed away on June 8, 2016. He was a resident of Banning, CA for 17 years, previously of San Bernardino, CA for 33 years. He worked for the Federal Government as Regional Director, Air Force Commissary Services, GS-15. He was a member of the Beaumont Presbyterian Church. He belonged to Dinner Dance Club, Friendship Club, Paisano Club, and RV Club all at Sun Lakes Country Club. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf at Sun Lakes, dancing the night away, camping in our RV, fishing and playing poker.

Victor is survived by his wife Georgeanne Shuey of Banning, CA; son Victor G. Shuey, Jr., of Mission Viejo, CA; daughter Joy Diane Shuey of Maui, Hawaii; son Gary D. Shuey of Lake Arrowhead, CA; son Robert E. Shuey of San Clemente, CA; grandchildren Kiana L. Letzia of Maui, HI, Summer Shuey of Las Vegas, NV, Heather Shuey of Las Vegas, NV, Josef Shuey of San Bernardino, CA, Robert Shuey of Lake Arrowhead, CA, Rhiannon Shuey of San Clemente, CA; and great grandchildren Gracie Espinoza of Las Vegas, NV and Elania Barrale of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Dean Shuey of Spokane , WA.

Memorial Services will be on Friday, June 17 at 11am at Beaumont Presbyterian, 702 Euclid Ave., Beaumont, CA 92223. Private burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to the American Macular Degeneration Fund (www.macular.org) or the American Cancer Society.
