

To commemorate the home-going of Warren Ninness, known to many as “Buzz”: Born Mar 17, 1918, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from South Hills High School, Bible Training School and worked for Duquesne Light Company. He served three years in the U. S. Army Corps during World War II as a cryptographer stationed in Africa, Corsica, and Italy 1942-1945. He, then, directed the Greater Pittsburgh Youth for Christ and continued his Christian work in San Francisco. Later he retired as a purchasing agent for Home Savings of America living in Granada Hills. He has lived at Sun Lakes for 30 years and was a member of Fellowship at the Pass Church and associate member of Pilgrim Congregational Church of Hemet. He was preceded in death by his loving first wife, Eula Given Ninness, and is survived by his beloved second wife, Alyene Dennis Ninness, four step children, Cheryl Ralston Staples of Beaumont, Jan Ralston of Morgan Hill, CA, Stephen Ralston of Beaumont, and James Ralston of McMurray, PA, two step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The memorial service will take place at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 8 with a private burial at Riverside National Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Carol’s Kitchen, where he was a volunteer, P. O. Box 364, Calimesa, CA 92320.
