Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley Wv Barbara Ann Carr 61, of Beckley went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 15, 2016 at her residence following a long battle with many illnesses. Born May 13, 1955 in Glen Falls New York, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Daniels Russell. Barbara was an avid animal lover. She was a incredible cook, and loved life despite the many health issues that she battled every day. Barbara loved the Lord and it was her faith in him that kept her going during her hardest times. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 21 years William Carr, her son Arthur Carr, her daughter Christy Carr Kunze and her husband Vincent, her grand daughter Carly Ann Humphrey, her brother Arthur Russell Jr. and her four sisters Julia, Alice, Jessica and Melinda. Services will be Monday July 18, 2016 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Following the service Barbara will be laid to rest in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family from 1pm until service time Monday at the funeral home.
