

Beulah "Boots" Lewis, 89, of Helen, West Virginia, went into the arms of her Lord Saturday, May 28, 2016. She served as a lifelong member of Helen Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, VBS teacher, and youth director. She was a Girl Scout leader, and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. Beulah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie Lewis; her parents, Lumma and Florence Shrewsbury; two sisters, Dorcas Taylor and Phyllis Powell; and a brother, Charles Shrewsbury. Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Sharon Cullop of Crab Orchard and Tony Lewis and wife Nanette of Soak Creek; sister-in-law, Margaret Shrewsbury of Augusta; Five grandchildren: David Cullop and wife Rhonda of Ashland, KY, Stephanie Helmick and husband Larry of Sophia, Denise Adams and husband Tim of Daniels, Derek Cullop and wife Emily of Granbury, TX, Antionette Green and husband Doug of Crab Orchard; 12 great-grandchildren: JD Edwin, Sydney, Krista, Haley, Brandee, Hattie, Carley, Brianna Tenley, Zach, Landen, and Holly; two special friends, Marty and Donald Moore; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may gather with the family on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 12 – 2 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
