Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Charlene Combs, who passed away on June 19, 2018; and his sister, Carol Adkins. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Derek Combs and his fiancé, Rachel Davis; mother and father, Nancy Wyatt Combs and Teddy Combs, Jr.; his sister, Mitzi Combs Cohenour; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Eddie loved driving his tractor trailer for the Estes Corporation. He loved going to the beach and had a passion for hunting and fishing. Eddie was always a very caring and compassionate individual.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
