Edward L Bosley

Edward L. Bosley 71 of Beckley, WV passed away from a sudden illness on Sunday April 16, 2017. Born June 11, 1945, he was the son of Willis Edward Bosley and the late Alma Lee McDaniel. Edward attended St. Francis Catholic Church. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Edward retired from Verizon Telephone Company after 37 years of service. He was a Master Mason from the Putnam Lodge of Hurricane. Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, working on his camp and being with his family. In addition to his mother, Edward is preceded in death by his brother, Bud Bosley. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Glora Ann Breaud Bosley; father, Willis Edward Bosley and wife, Frances of Winifred, WV; daughters, Lea Ann Nairn and husband, Jeff of League City, TX, Heather Cormier and fiancée Byron Fobbs of Lafayette, LA; brother, David Bosley and wife, Judy of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Karen Buckton and husband, Ron of Rock Creek, WV, Patty Skeens and husband, Mike of Dunbar, WV; grandchildren, Josef Nairn, Chase Cormier and Sophie Cormier; great-grandchild, Collin Nairn; also several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Ron Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Camp Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may gather with the family Saturday from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
