Ellis Wayne Price

Ellis Wayne Price (Porter), 63 of Coal City, WV went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 13, 2021. He was born January 4, 1958, in Beckley, WV to the late Ellis Clifford Price and Betty Jean Porter Price.

Wayne attended Sophia Freewill Baptist Church. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time four-wheeling, fishing, hunting, and attending family gatherings. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He operated Price’s Garage for 40 years and loved serving his friends, community, and customers.

Wayne always had a special place in his heart for his animals and especially his beloved Beagle “Sally”.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 35 years, Heidi Waddell Price; three children, Clifford Wayne Price (Melinda), John Kingsley Price (Cassandra), and Cheyenne May Price Lilly (Adam); grandchildren, Blake Wayne Price, Luke Noble Price, Alayna Bailey Price, and Cooper Jaxon Price; sister, Kathy Price Hawkins; and mother-in-law, Judy Waddell.

Funeral Service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10:00 am with Pastor Bobby Carter officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
