Ernie Stover

Ernest “Ernie” Lloyd Stover, Jr., 51, of Normantown, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 after a long battle with lung disease. Born December 20, 1964 in Beckley, WV. He is the son of Norma Catlett Stover and the late Ernest Stover, Sr. Ernie was a former volunteer firefighter, EMT and supervisor for Jan Care Ambulance Service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers. He was a bright star in life and will be remembered by his family and many friends. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Renee Hutleman. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Norma Jewell Stover; children, Chris, Nikki, Keri and Haley; brothers, Karrol Stover and Randy Stover; grandchildren, Colton, Elizabeth and Luke. Friends may gather with the family Friday, June 10, 2016 from 6-9pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1pm at the funeral home with Jim Catlett officiating. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery off Maple Fork Rd.
