Glenda Donitzen

Born July 5th, 1954, in Beckley, W.Va., to the late Harold W. Forren Sr. and Eleanor M. Blevins Forren. Glenda was the first of her siblings to be born in a hospital. Glenda was a member of Piney View Bible Church and a 1972 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School where she completed the Culinary Arts Program.

Glenda was a very caring person. She was a Certified CNA and was fulltime care giver for her mother, Eleanor and brother Arnold “Pete”, until their deaths. She always put others needs before her own.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, William D. Donitzen; grandchildren, Seth (Summer) Donitzen; great grandchildren, Madeline, Lilith and baby on the way, all of Beckley, WV; brothers, Harold W. (Kathy) Forren Jr. of Smithville, Ohio, Bobby (Virginia) Forren of Piney View, WV and Jerry (Theresa) Forren of Cross Lanes, W.V. ; sisters, Linda Huffman of Wilkesboro, N.C., Brenda (John) Gordon of Smithville, Ohio, and Gail (Rahn) Pittman of Elkhart, Ind.; also numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with family wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held for Glenda M. Donitzen, at Jeanette Cemetery in Lookout, West Virginia on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. After the interment, we will be gathering at Lookout Baptist Church, located directly beside the cemetery, at 29682 Midland Trail, Lookout WV 25868. We will share memories and stories to laugh and cry and remember a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.

Light refreshments will be served until 4:00 p.m.
