Howard Duke Worix

Born on April 3, 1928 in Pikeville, KY to the late Vaughn Worix and Mary Alice Bryant Worix.

Howard is preceded in death by his wife, Celia Jean Worix; brothers, Clyde Worix, Eugene Duncan and Frank Worix.

Howard is survived by his son, David Lee Worix and wife Lori; granddaughter Camille Worix; grandsons, Sean Worix, Alec Worix and Nick Worix; Great Grandson Gabriel Lee Michael Worix all of Coal City, WV; and his two surviving brothers, Robert Worix and Doyle Worix.

Howard is also survived by his companion Nancy L. Adkins and her son David Adkins of Beckley, WV and daughter Betty Adkins of Shady Spring, WV. Howard also has several nieces and nephews and was loved by many friends.

Howard has been retired and enjoyed being with his great grandson, Gabriel. Howard was a Tech Advisor for Hercules Explosives. Howard went to Ross High School in Atlanta, GA and he was of Christian faith.

Graveside service was held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on November 26, 2018 at 1 pm.

Pastor Gene Miller officiated the services.
