Jesse Lee Dewey

Jesse is preceded in death by his uncle Stanley and aunt Sabrina Peterson.

He is survived by his father Michael Dewey and stepmother Deanna Dewey, his mother Jill Dewey Smith and stepfather William “Calvin” Smith, brother Evan Dewey and his wife Jennie Dewey along with their children Micah and Josie, sister Emilee Dewey, and her daughter Lola, stepbrother William “Bubby” Smith and stepsister Samantha McKinney, grandmother Emiliee Peterson, uncle Larry Dewey, uncle and aunt Bob and Mayme Dewey, aunt and uncle Susan and Danny Davis, uncle and aunt Terry and Sherry Peterson, girlfriend Kimberly Bowles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition, his loving, loyal, grateful and spoiled dog Marlow Dewey.

Jesse grew up in southern West Virginia and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He later moved to Carolina Beach, North Carolina where he lived by the beach and ran his own company constructing outdoor recreational structures and facilities. He had recently returned to the mountains that he had always called home.

Jesse was a talented caring person and will be missed by all that knew him.

A memorial service for Jesse will be held at Beckley Regular Baptist Church on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 at 1PM.
