In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jerry D. Rawls; daughter, Sherry L. Cooper and Pamela Liska; siblings, Mary Obugene and husband, Paul, Nila Bledsoe and husband, Jack, Elizabeth Navarro and husband, Ray, Drema Bragg and husband, Gary, Irene Cook and husband, Jimmy, Curtis Adkins and wife, Janice, Jack Adkins and wife, Olga, Virgil Adkins and wife, Diane; sisters-in-law, Mary Adkins and Bonnie Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Tina M. Buckland and husband Jason, her son in law Steve Cooper and wife Leigh; grandchildren, Justin Cooper, Delaney Buckland, Ciara Cole, Violet Cole, and Sheena Hatcher; great-grandchild, Dylan Thompson; siblings, Ruben Adkins, Floyd Adkins and companion, Juanita Dozier; her caregiver, Jamie Wykle.
Services to celebrate the life of Jewell Christine Rawls will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Billy Waddell officiating. Following the services Jewell will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
