Juanita June Fain, age 95, of Midway, entered into rest on Monday, December 13, 2021, at Bowers Hospice House. Born July 9, 1926, at McAlpin, she was the daughter of the late George Stennett and Lena Allen Stennett.
Her foremost interests were her family and her home. She enjoyed Knitting. A follower of Jesus Christ since young adulthood, she was a retired payroll clerk from Westmoreland Coal Company.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James L. Fain; her sister, Marguerite Mabrey; 2 nephews, William Mabrey, Richard Mabrey; and two great-grand infants.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Melinda Fain Proffitt, special son-in-law, Alan Proffitt; two grandchildren, Tara Proffitt Wells, Jason Proffitt; a special grandson-in-law, Mark Wells; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Juanita had many friends too numerous to mention and special neighbors, Jim and Shirley Pitzenbarger, Roger and Darlene Norton, and Larry and Pam Reynolds. A very special lifelong friend is Sheila Meadows of Crab Orchard.
Services will be private at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
