Mrs. June K Sisson, age 82, of White Oak, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis Daly and Katherine Sykes Daly. Prior to retiring, June worked for a number of years as an in-home caregiver. She was a long-time member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church, where she played piano for many years. She loved to crochet, paint, play the piano and sew.
In addition to her parents June was preceded in death by a son, Charles Garfield Henson, a daughter, Deborah Anne Rhodes-Scott and a grandson, William Daniel Rood.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Jerry Robert Rhodes (Lori), Timothy Rhodes (Sonya), and June Ann Lepley; grandchildren Darrell Dewayne Cadle, Katherine Jacqueline Rhodes, Charles Arthur Cadle, Theodore Joseph Rhodes, Lindsy Nichole Lepley, Nichole Lynn Henson (Dakota), Karlie Jean Henson, Jase Charles Henson and a host of great grandchildren.
June's services will be private. Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
