Lisa Michelle Horton, age 53, of Beckley, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House. Born on March 24, 1967 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Franklin Myers, Sr. and Kathleen Goodson Myers.
Lisa was the Fundraising Coordinator for the Children’s Miracle Network of Beckley. She retired as a Department Manager for the Beckley Walmart and attend Mossy Living Word Church. She was a loving and devoted mother and nana to her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Chris Myers and his wife, Stacee, and Trace Horton; her grandchildren, Karli and Aubree Myers, and a “future Horton grandbaby” on the way; her sisters, Nina Milam, Patricia Mann and her husband, Gary, Kathy Lewis and her husband, Kevin, Carrie Kelly and her husband, Charles, and Diane Loftis and her husband, Bill; her brothers, James Milam and Johnnie Franklin, Myers Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm in The Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Basham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm.
For those who wish, Lisa’s celebration of life service will also be available through Facebook Live on Blue Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens’ Facebook page beginning at 12:55 pm the day of the service.
