Born on November 9th, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John Hansford and Jessie Patton Hansford.
Margaret spent her life as a loving homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed bingo, camping, fishing, playing cards and spending time wither grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly.
She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brothers Robert Hansford, Marvin Hansford, and Phillip Morris; and sisters Sue Crump and Janet Parker.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted husband Edward Cunningham of Rhodell; a son, Eugene Cunningham (Debbie) of Sophia; a daughter, Ann Flaugher of Rhodell; a sister, Jona Lee Tyree; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
There will be a graveside service for Margaret on Thursday, July 10th, 2025 at 1 PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Joe Cadle officiating.
