She will be remembered as a God loving woman who would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need, and that loved and cherished her family—including her dog Marty—unconditionally.
A member of the Princewick Baptist Church, she lived humbly in the service of the Lord spending each morning praying and reading in her bible. Throughout the day she could be found singing along with her radio while she handcrafted all she could out of coal. Her love of God could only be followed by her love for her family, always helpful in any way she could whether it was words of encouragement and advice or simply sharing a meal of Fish fillets and cheese balls. They will miss her dearly.
Waiting to greet her at the pearly gates are her parents Andrew and Marion Meadows, beloved husband Wilford Meadows, granddaughters Amanda and Dusty, brother-in-law Willis, and daughter-in-law Donna.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Darrell Meadows (Bonnie), daughters Brenda Walker (Charlie), Phyllis Powers (Brian), grandsons Chris Bell (Jade), Michael Powers (Jadyn), Darrell Meadows Jr., Thomas Hopkins, Brandon Meadows, great-grandsons Jensen and baby Colton, and granddaughters Tabitha and Somerly.
Funeral services by Pastor Wayne Browning will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley at 2 pm on Wednesday October 29th, 2025; friends and family are invited for a visitation an hour prior to services.
