Mary Vaught

She was born February 11, 1947 in Flat Top, West Virginia. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Rudolph Hatcher and Arland Hatcher; also an infant sister.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 45 years, James Vaught of Beckley; sons, Charles Scott Vaught of Beckley, James D. Vaught, Jr and wife Bina Renee of Ansted and Timothy Mark Vaught of Beckley; brother, Douglas Hatcher of Flat Top; sisters, Surella Barnett of Virginia, Betty Sue Stanford of Vrginia and Virginia Lilly of Virginia; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, November 25, 2016 from 12-1pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 1pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at the funeral home with Bishop Floyd Vaught officiating.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with family and friends to serve as pallbearers.
