Michael Robert Fizer DDS

A graduate of Victory Baptist Academy, Michael pursued his undergraduate chemistry degree at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, where he met his wife, Amanda. He then attended West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry, and upon graduating, worked as an associate dentist in rural West Virginia for three years. He then purchased his own practice, Fizer Dental Care, where he has passionately worked and served his patients for the past 14 years.

Michael enjoyed playing tennis and golf, and he loved to run. Michael also loved the beach, as well as collecting and driving his Porsches, and collecting watches. Michael loved to learn and spent several years learning German. Above all of these things, Michael loved his family immensely, and spending time with them was his favorite thing. He was a strong Christian and recently attended Bible Baptist Church in MacArthur.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amanda Heinze Fizer, his children, Ethan Fizer of Bridgeport, Annie Fizer, Gabriel Fizer, and Emily Fizer of Daniels, WV. He is also survived by his parents, Mike and Sherry Fizer of Grandview; his brother, Mark Fizer of Lynchburg, VA; his grandmother, Freda Hutton of Charleston; as well as his mother and father-in-law, Lester and Starry Heinze of FL. Michael’s memory will also remain with his beloved, extended family, and a great number of cherished friends.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at Bible Baptist Church, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11 am, with Pastor Sam Greene and Lester Heinze officiating. Friends may gather with the family beginning at 10 am, until the time of the service at the church.
