Nancy L Thompson

Nancy L. Thompson, age 81, of Beckley, WV peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 17, 2022, at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV. She was born in Prince, WV.

During her life, Nancy was passionate about her relationship with Jesus. She loved God and spent many years as an active member of the church, serving the Lord as a pastor’s wife, teacher, and church leader. Her eternal legacy: teaching her family and friends the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus. She enjoyed studying and teaching the Bible, even in the nursing home, each Sunday morning she would lead Bible study. She was always quick to testify about all that God had done for her. She was loved by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Thompson; her son, Robert Hall; parents; and her siblings. She is survived by her sons, Richard Hall of Fairfax, VA, David Hall of Aldie, VA, and Douglas Hall of Beckley, WV, along with her five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as her sisters, Barbara Nelson of Pennsville, NJ and Mary Moore of Ballston Spa, NY.

Funeral services will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Dr, Beckley, WV, 25801 on Saturday, August 27th at 2PM with Pastor Paul Chapmen officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the funeral home.
