Rachel Jane Seigler

Rachel Jane Seigler, age 66 of Beckley, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at her home following a sudden illness. Born on the 12th day of November in 1947 in Meade, West Virginia to the late Glen Shirley Seigler and Ruby Victoria Boyd Seigler. Rachel was a homemaker and had attended the North Beckley Church of Christ. She was also very interested in her own family’s genealogy and enjoyed playing computer games. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert ‘Bobby’ Seigler; sister, Betty Jean Spence; and a grandson, Carson Daniel Cadle. Those left behind to carry on her legacy include her sons, Michael Seigler of Charlotte, NC, and Randy Seigler and wife Mandy of Nimitz; daughters, Robin Seigler of Charleston and Pam Allen of Beckley; grandson, whom was like a son, Kenneth Tyrone Seigler and wife Evoni of Jacksonville, FL; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive her. In keeping with Rachel’s final wishes she was cremated. Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Rachel Seigler will be conducted at 7pm Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel in Prosperity. Visitation will also be held from 6-7pm at the funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rachel’s honor at The Women’s Resource Center here in Beckley at 328 Neville St, Beckley, WV 25801.
