Ricky Junior Holsten

Rick was born May 26, 1948 in Coal River, WV. He was a son of the late Arnold and Dorothy Holsten. He enjoyed working on his vehicles, especially his Fords, relaxing in his recliner and loving his dog, Pretty Boy. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and their families, always looking forward to making memories with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father in law, Joseph and Reta Akers; two sisters, Janet Gillespie and Connie Graham; three brothers, David, Larry, and Clarence "Bo" Holsten; his daughter, Christine Holsten; grandson, Matthew Lilly; great-granddaughter, Sylvia Bailey; and three sisters in law, Deanie Akers, Tonya Akers, and Sherry Honaker.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 48 years, Tammy Holsten; his three sisters, Jackie McKinney and husband, Mike, Diane Perkins and husband, Gary, and Mary Jane; brother, Shawn Holsten; children, Sandra Holsten, Stacy Zuniga and husband, Ed, Stephanie Bailey and husband, David; grandchildren, Ryan Bailey and wife, Danielle, Jacob Bailey, and Sabrina Wall and husband, Kameron; along with his six great-grandchildren, Jade, Gauge, August, Jameson, Olivia, and Kameron Jr; two brothers in law, Danny and Bryan Akers; sister in law, Terri Smith and husband, Shawn, many nieces, nephews along with other close friends, Kevin and Ginny Vandal, Steve and Attie Kershner, Barbara Akers, and Bud and Bobbie Hylton.

A service to celebrate the life of Ricky Junior Holsten will be held 3:00PM January 20, 2026 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Chris Lester officiating. Rick will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley in the Garden of Prayer.

Friends may gather with the family from 2:00PM until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
