Robert "Wayne" Acord was born on February 15, 1955 in Pineville, West Virginia to his parents French and Norma Jean (Daniel) Acord. He passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2020 in Beckley, West Virginia.
Wayne is preceded in death by his daughter Sara Jean Acord; brothers Lonnie and Danny Acord; sister Lisa Acord; and his first wife Linda Sue (Stanley) Acord.
Wayne leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 26 years, Patricia "Tossy" Sue (Smith) Acord; daughters Jami Marie (Mark) Birchfield and Michell Lynn (Judd) Allen, Trena Marie (Michael) Canady and Randi (Kevin) Kuhn; grandchildren Cassidy and Laney Birchfield, Leia Allen, Jackson, Emily, and Evan Canady, and Maycie Kuhn; sisters-in-law Genia and Kelli Acord; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Wayne loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar, gardening, hunting, and fishing.
