Mr. Roger Dale Hollingshead

Roger was born August 26, 1947, in Josephine, WV; he was a son of the late Charles and Orpha Cole Hollingshead.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his sister, Patti Roles.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of almost 33 years, Nora Taylor Hollingshead; a daughter, Melissa Pegram; grandsons, Landon and Grayson; a step-son, Nick Wayne Nipper and wife, Leilani all of Beckley; brothers, Charles Hollingshead and wife, Connie of IN, Frank Hollingshead and wife, Karen of KY, and Johnny Hollingshead and wife, Dottie of WV; a sister, Freda Strauser and husband, Gerry of FL; many nieces, nephews; extended family and friends; including two special little buddies, Hunter and Bo.

Roger was a member of the UMWA and was a Raleigh County School Bus Driver. He served his country proudly in the US Army and served in Vietnam.

Roger was a jack of all trades, and a master of none. He loved to travel, camp, mow, and read.

In keeping with his wishes, Roger was cremated in Indiana. A celebration of his life will be held in January 2026.
