Born on February 24, 1933 in Wheeling, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence Vance.
Shirley was a member of the Beckley Moose Lodge and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Vance, Bob Conaway and Buss Conaway.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband Robert Wheeler; two sons, Rodney Wheeler (Julie) of Shady Spring, Robert Wheeler (Elizabeth) of Clarksburg; two daughters, Rebecca Wheeler of McMechen, Robin Wheeler of Valdosta, GA; one brother, Bill Vance; one sister, Grace Edgell; 15 grandchildren; and several great and great-great Grandchildren.
