Vera previously attended Bible Baptist Church in MacArthur. Her favorite pastimes were spending time at the beach, time with family and shopping on QVC.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Gene D. Skiles of Bradley, daughter Kimberly Skiles Hatfield and husband Jerry of Wilmington, NC, son Mark Skiles and wife Debbie of Bradley, daughter Pamela Skiles Hilliard and husband Matthew of Bradley; as well as grandchildren Jessica, Khristin, Kaylee, Erika, Tyler and Tucker; and great grandchildren Bellamy, Avery, Hunter and Harper; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Friends may gather with the family from 11 - 1 on Friday June 20, 2025, at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
